    About RÉGIME DES FLEURS

    RÉGIME DES FLEURS
Régime des Fleurs means reign of flowers. Instead of a political and social system ruled by force, we imagine a world of nature, culture and beauty. Alia Raza

Alia Raza is an American artist, filmmaker, and perfumer, and the founder of the niche fragrance house Régime des Fleurs, launched in 2014. Raised in Buffalo, New York, she studied film and fine arts at New York University and Columbia University before gaining recognition in the art world for her video installations, which have been exhibited at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Centre Pompidou, and the Berlin Biennale. Her background in conceptual, visually rich storytelling became the foundation for her distinctive approach to perfume-making. Through Régime des Fleurs, Raza has collaborated with master perfumers like Dominique Ropion and cultural figures including Chloë Sevigny to create fragrances such as Little Flower, Rock River Melody, and Tóor-Tóor. Known for blending historical references, botanical inspiration, and sculptural design, her work emphasizes originality over trends, positioning Régime des Fleurs as a brand where contemporary art and luxury fragrance meet.

    Community Insights

Based on available community discussions and limited user feedback, Régime des Fleurs 'Crushed Fruits' is praised for its sophisticated and complex fruit-forward composition, blending vivid, juicy notes with an elegant, chic overlay. While users are attracted to its naturalistic fruit realism and balanced floral-woody undertones, most criticism revolves around the high price point and limited format, which restrict broader access and comprehensive review coverage.

    Pros

Bold fruit realism: The scent features true-to-nature, juicy fruit notes (like raspberry, plum, peach, and grape) that stand out as both lively and sophisticated.
Balanced, chic composition: Reviewers appreciate how the fruity accords are complemented by orris, jasmine, woody, and amber tones, keeping the fragrance refined and not overtly sweet.
Niche and non-gourmand: The profile is noted as unisex with a 'chic' rather than 'candy' warmth, appealing to those who dislike traditional sugary fruit scents.

    Cons

Premium pricing: The high price for a small volume (notably $190 for 8ml) is a recurring complaint, posing a significant barrier for many potential buyers.
Limited accessibility: The fragrance's limited-edition status and restricted distribution make it difficult to sample, reducing the opportunity for wider user experience and feedback.

    Comparisons

Comparable to high-end niche fruity fragrances: Some curiosity and discussion compare it to exclusive fruit-centric releases from brands like Byredo or MDCI, given its naturalistic style and price.
Reminds reviewers of elegant fruit-floral blends: Key difference is its unique balance of realistic fruit with orris and woodiness, contrasting the more gourmand or syrupy profiles of mainstream fruity scents.

    Vibe & Emotions

Upbeat exuberance: The vivacious fruit notes evoke a sense of playfulness and joy, particularly suitable for daytime or casual summer wear.
Sophisticated chic: The balanced composition with orris and woods creates an air of understated luxury, appealing for special occasions or those seeking a refined, modern fruit scent.
Exclusive intrigue: The limited availability and premium nature make wearing it feel like a unique, almost secret indulgence, appreciated by those who enjoy rare fragrances.
