Matière Première is a luxury fragrance brand founded by Aurélien Guichard, a perfumer who uniquely grows his own fragrance ingredients including Rose Centifolia, Tuberose, and Lavandin in the Grasse region of France. In 2016, he established an organic Rose Centifolia farm in Grasse, founding Matière Première in 2019 to champion farm-to-fragrance luxury perfumery using his own cultivated ingredients.
