    Description

San Pedro by 19-69 is a vibrant and fresh fragrance that captures the unique landscape of Joshua Tree National Park and the free-spirited atmosphere of Laurel Canyon in the late 1960s and 70s. It opens with a bright, cool minty citrus blast, featuring Italian lemon and bergamot, before transitioning into a greener heart where notes of litsea cubeba, peach skin, and green cactus emerge. The scent then settles into a soft, powdery musk, underscored by cashmere wood, vetiver, and violet, creating an aromatic green profile that feels both natural and intriguing. This fragrance is designed to evoke a sensory journey, blending the rugged beauty of the desert with a hint of psychedelic experimentation.

Johan Bergelin: β€œI have always surrounded myself with creative people, personal friends as well as professional. What has always inspired me is how these artists very often stand up for their values. They want to make a difference. This can be made in endless ways: a mural painting, a sculpture, photos or music lyrics. You may or may not personally agree, but it takes guts to stand up for your beliefs and who you are, and I do respect that. I think this is what planted a seed in me and was the beginning of 19-69.”

    Cons

Lack of Distinctiveness for Some: A few users feel it's "nothing special" and not impactful enough, lacking sweetness or sexiness.
Musky Drydown Concern: There are occasional mentions of a potentially "ugly musk" in the drydown that some find bothersome.
