Luca Maffei

Luca Maffei is an Italian perfumer born in 1985 in Milan, who grew up immersed in the fragrance world due to his father Marco Maffei's career at companies like Symrise and International Flavors and Fragrances. After studying economics at the University of Milan, he trained in Grasse under Madame Françoise Marin and apprenticed with Vincent Ricord, later co-founding Atelier Fragranze Milano in 2011 as CEO and lead perfumer. His notable works include Cuoio Nobile for Pineider, Iris Magnifica (Esxence finalist), fragrances for Perris Monte Carlo like Rose de Taif and Oud Imperial, and creations for Masque Milano, Jul et Mad, and others, blending Italian heritage with innovative niche perfumery.
