France
Fabrice Croisé is a French fragrance industry veteran originally from Provence, who built his career in luxury fragrance development and marketing at companies like L'Oréal before launching his own ventures. After creating a successful floral perfume line with Eric Buterbaugh, he founded Scents of Wood in 2020, a niche house inspired by forests and Shinrin-Yoku, where organic cane alcohol is aged in wooden barrels to infuse scents with authentic wood notes. Notable achievements include the 2021 Fragrance Foundation Perfume Extraordinaire of the Year Award for Plum in Cognac, crafted in collaboration with top perfumers from IFF.
