David Maruitte is a senior perfumer at Sozio, where he serves as Director of Creation for Fine Fragrance, having previously gained experience in their American subsidiary before leading the Fine Fragrance creation center in the Grasse region of France. He entered the fragrance industry by chance through his parents' involvement in selling perfumes via their work council. Notable creations include Nerosa (black rose) and Salina for Laboratorio Olfattivo, Whip for Le Galion, and Sel Vanille for Maison Tahite, often featuring fresh citrus, marine, and woody notes that capture Mediterranean landscapes.
