    Fanny Bal is a French perfumer born in Paris in 1991 who studied at ISIPCA, the prestigious perfumery school founded by Jean-Jacques Guerlain. She joined International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) in 2015 as an apprentice under master perfumer Dominique Ropion, with whom she collaborated on fragrances for prestigious brands including Givenchy, Lancôme, Kenzo, Mugler, and Dior. She is recognized as a rising star of French perfumery, known for her innovative approach of creating original accords and building fragrances around unprecedented ingredient combinations, with notable creations including Sale Gosse for Frédéric Malle and fragrances for Les Bains Guerbois.
