Christian Carbonnel, also known as Chris Maurice, is the third generation of a renowned Spanish perfumery dynasty founded by his French grandfather Maurice Carbonnel in 1925. Trained in his family's in-house laboratory under his father Francisco, he now directs Carbonnel S.A. in Barcelona and founded C De La Niche in 2019 to specialize in niche fragrances. His notable contributions include acclaimed scents like Xerjoff's Erba Pura, Alexandria II, and Lira, Nishane's Nefs and B-612, as well as collaborations with Amouage, Sospiro, Masque Milano, and Zoologist, blending oriental mastery with innovative techniques.
