Céline Ellena, born and raised in Grasse, France, is a distinguished perfumer from the renowned Ellena family, daughter of Jean-Claude Ellena and granddaughter of perfumer Peter Ellena. She trained at ISIPCA in Versailles and gained experience at Harmann & Reimer (now Symrise) and Charabot before succeeding her father at The Different Company in 2004, where she created notable fragrances like Pure eVe, Sel de Vétiver, De Bachmakov, and Oriental Lounge. Since 2009, she has worked independently, launching her blog Chroniques Olfactives and contributing to publications while crafting elegant, timeless scents for brands like Houbigant, including Figuier Noir.
