Maurice Roucel is a French master perfumer celebrated for his sensual, opulent style and masterful use of musk and floral notes. Beginning his career as a chemist at Chanel in the 1970s, he later joined Symrise, where he created some of modern perfumery’s most acclaimed scents, including Musc Ravageur (Frédéric Malle), Dans Tes Bras (Frédéric Malle), and L’Instant de Guerlain.
