Chris Bartlett
Chris J M Bartlett was a renowned British perfumer and founder of Pell Wall, a leading supplier of fragrance ingredients for professional and amateur perfumers worldwide. Beginning his interest in perfumery as a teenager through essential oil blending, Bartlett built a dual career as a creative perfumer—notably collaborating with Zoologist Perfumes on fragrances like Elephant and Beaver—while simultaneously establishing Pell Wall as a vital resource with over 14,000 customers globally. He passed away in July 2024, but his legacy continues through the company, which maintains his vision of providing high-quality, accessible perfumery ingredients and supporting the international perfumery community.
