Pia Long
Pia Long is a Finnish-born perfumer, writer, and fragrance industry consultant based in the UK. She trained in perfumery through both independent study and industry apprenticeships, and co-founded Olfactive O (a niche fragrance brand) as well as Olfiction Ltd, a creative fragrance consultancy. Beyond creating perfumes, she has worked extensively in cosmetic formulation, scent design, and education, and is known for her engaging writing about perfume, both technical and cultural. A full member of the British Society of Perfumers, Pia Long is also active in industry organizations and frequently speaks about the art and science of perfumery. She is recognized for blending technical expertise with creativity, bridging the gap between commercial projects and independent artistic work.
