Pierre Montale, born in France, is a renowned perfumer who founded the niche perfume houses Montale in 2003 and Mancera in 2008, pioneering the integration of oud and oriental scents into French perfumery. His career began after travels to Saudi Arabia, where he created fragrances for the royal family using exclusive materials, later inspiring his Paris-based brands that blend Eastern and Western influences. He collaborates with his daughter Amélie, who became Artistic Director of Mancera in 2017, and his work is characterized by bold, luxurious compositions sold from a boutique near the Champs-Élysées.
