Sultan Pasha is a self-taught artisan perfumer of Bengali origin, raised in London by a single mother, who initially studied biochemistry and worked in retail banking before discovering his passion for perfumery through experimenting with essential oils and attars around 2012-2013. He specializes in traditional oil-based attars using rare natural materials, eschewing synthetics, with notable creations like Shadee (inspired by his wife's wedding), Incense Royal, Irisoir (a tribute to Jacques Fath's Iris Gris), and collaborations such as Zoologist's Sacred Scarab and Shekor Perfume's Ashar capturing Bengali monsoon essence. His work bridges ancient South Asian and Middle Eastern perfumery techniques with contemporary niche artistry, emphasizing spiritual depth, cultural heritage, and ongoing learning.
