Daphné Bugey is a French perfumer born in Grenoble, who discovered her passion for perfumery at age 12 during a family trip to Grasse, the world's perfume capital. She trained at the prestigious ISIPCA perfumery school and joined Firmenich in 1997, where she has created numerous acclaimed fragrances including Kenzo Amour, DSquared2 He Wood line, Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal, and L’Artisan Parfumeur collections. Her work draws from global travels, such as a 2009 sabbatical involving meditation in Nepal, organic farming in Japan, Ayurveda in India, and language studies in Italy, blending artistic chemistry with emotional depth.
