Sven Pritzkoleit
Sven Pritzkoleit is a self-taught German perfumer and former pharmacist who studied pharmacy in the early 1990s and developed his perfumery skills through self-study of raw materials, books by masters like E. Roudnitska and J.-C. Ellena, and mentorship from industry experts such as Dr. Philip Kraft and Maurice Roucel. He founded SP Parfums in 2016 after closing his family pharmacy, creating over 30 fragrances including the Essential Collection, collaborations like Suntanglam and Funfair with Miguel Matos, and notable works such as Zoologist Hyrax and Pink Patchouli; he also authored the book Duftspuren and won the Art & Olfaction Award in 2019. His style blends childhood scent memories, contrasts like harsh and smooth, and a mix of natural and synthetic ingredients, drawing inspiration from brands like Comme des Garçons and Le Labo.
