Henri Robert (1899–1987) was a French perfumer and chemist from Grasse, born into the renowned Robert perfume dynasty as the son of Joseph Robert, a pioneering perfumery chemist. He trained and worked at Chiris alongside greats like Ernest Beaux before becoming head perfumer at Parfums d'Orsay, then Coty, and later serving as Chief Perfumer at Les Parfums Chanel from 1953 to 1978. Among his most notable creations are Le Dandy for d'Orsay, Muguet de Bois for Coty, and the Chanel classics Pour Monsieur, No. 19, and Cristalle, as well as his stewardship of Chanel No. 5.
