Alissa Sullivan

Alissa Sullivan is a perfumer and co-founder of the California-based fragrance brand Liis, launched in 2020 with partner Leslie Hendin after they bonded over their shared fragrance obsession at a wedding in 2009. Trained at the prestigious ISIPCA perfumery school in Versailles, France, she gained experience in product development for niche brands including Penhaligon's London and L'Artisan Parfumeur before collaborating with renowned perfumer Jérôme Epinette on Liis's minimalist scents. Liis quickly gained traction, with viral TikTok success leading to sold-out discovery sets and recognition for its conscious, narrative-driven fragrances.
